It’s fun to walk through the neighborhood and see what people are doing with their front yards. You can enjoy the flowers, the sculptures, the yard ornaments…they’re right out front, ready for everyone to enjoy.
But every now and then, you are invited into a secret garden. A garden that is not open to just anybody. A secret garden where every little discovery feels like just that…a discovery.
I love roaming the neighborhood, seeing all the flower beds, and the plastic flamingos and the occasional manicured lawn.
But I also love the moments spent quietly, sitting on a timbered wall in a small, secret garden.
