The Birds of Pawley’s

There’s nothing like Spring Break on Pawley’s Island.

Sure, there’s the sun and surf to enjoy. But during Spring Break, there’s the added treat of nesting season. Birds are everywhere!

The sandpipers run through the waves, the red-winged blackbirds perch in the trees and the purple martin houses have few vacancies.

I’m back in town now, and Spring Break is just a memory. But at least I can still visit the parking lot seagulls from time to time.
