It’s pollen season!
Here in the South, that’s the season directly between January and summer.
Sure, it brings headaches, sneezes, sniffles and watery eyes. But it also brings blooming azaleas, early roses and flowering fruit trees. Oh, and gentle spring showers. (Which in turn bring mold and mildew.)
It’s a maddening but beautiful season, and we welcome it.
Still, I was surprised to see a neighbor putting up a cheerful flag celebrating the arrival of “Evil Mold.”
Oh, wait. The flag makes more sense when you view it from the other side.
Am I the only one who finds this funny?
Yes?
OK.
