Feral Cats

posted in: Neighborhood, Walkabout Wednesday | 0

We have a fairly robust colony of feral cats here in the neighborhood. And for a population of strays, I must say they look pretty sleek and well fed.

They also seem to be a rather happy lot: hiding under bushes, rolling in the grass, chasing each other.

Other than that, they spend a lot of time just sitting around waiting for food.

Which, come to think of it, makes them pretty much like every other cat in the neighborhood.

The feral cats live one parking lot over from the parking lot seagulls. I wonder if their paths ever cross.
