Not Not Marcelle was our backyard turtle that first showed up in June of 2023. When I made her acquaintance, she was looking for a way to escape the fence.
In July of this year, she was still dreaming of escape.
Not Not finally got her wish. This is what a turtle’s mad dash for freedom looks like.
Not Not did not make it through the fence on her own. Instead, she was chosen for the Turtle Relocation Program.
This is why.
