Back in my day, the most famous snowman in the world was Frosty.
Well, move over, Frosty, there’s a new snowman in town.
Disney’s Frozen movie came out in 2013, but its popularity shows no sign of waning. In fact, as far as the neighborhood Christmas decorations go, the movie’s adorable snowman Olaf is even gaining in popularity.
My youngest daughter was almost three when the movie came out. Not only have we watched the movie a bajillion times, but we are also the proud owners of Frozen dinnerware, a Frozen scooter, two Frozen water bottles, Frozen dress-up costumes, Frozen linens, a Frozen blanket, two Elsa dolls, an Olaf doll, Frozen watches, Frozen lip gloss and, from time to time, Frozen graham crackers.
Seeing Olaf in the neighborhood is like welcoming an old friend home for the holidays.
