When I walk through my neighborhood, I see stories everywhere. And some of these stories are found in the things that are lost or thrown away.
It’s not always the items themselves that inspire a story…it’s the combination of items. Like this mattress and suitcase.
What’s the story there?
Well, here’s the scenario that immediately popped into my mind.
A traveling salesman, home from days or weeks — or even an entire career on the road. Finally ready to stay put.
He purchases the best mattress money can buy and throws away the old. Then he tosses out his old suitcase, too.
“I’m home,” he thinks with a smile. “At last, I’m home to stay.”
