One of the highlights of my childhood was “First Week” at Pawleys Island. As soon as the school year was over, my family would head to the beach for the first week of summer — a week full of cousins and adventure.
This year, for the first time in a long time, school was out before Memorial Day.
Any time of year is a great time to be at Pawleys. But there’s just something special about First Week.
