When I work in the summer office, I see plenty of birds throughout the day.
Crows swoop through the yard. Hummingbirds flit by. Hawks circle overhead. And sometimes, I hear the vibrant sound of woodpeckers — a sound that makes me smile.
Until I realize the sound is coming from inside our play area. Where there are no trees.
