Sure, you can wander around all Halloween, going up to random porches and demanding “Trick or Treat!” Or, you could come to our neighborhood and take all the guesswork out of it. You’re welcome.
I’ve written before about the stick people who live in my neighborhood. Well, I just found out what they do on vacation. They go to the beach and play golf!
Here in the neighborhood, we pride ourselves on our manners. We say “Yes, ma’am.” We say “Thank you.” We wave to everybody and smile. That’s just how we were raised. Even our leaf piles are polite.
In these trying times, just remember that you are loved. My neighbors don’t want me to forget it. I don’t want you to forget it, either.

Unfortunately, lost animal signs are always popping up in the neighborhood. There are lost cats. And animals that might be cats. And then there’s this one. I hope he has found his way home. Surely, he couldn’t have gotten far.
