These childhood experiences gave me a lifelong love of the coast, which is quite apparent in <em><a href=\"http:\/\/lucynolanbooks.com\/wordpress\/portfolio\/mother-osprey\/\">Mother Osprey: Nursery Rhymes for Buoys and Gulls<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Nowadays, the <a href=\"http:\/\/lucynolanbooks.com\/wordpress\/2016\/08\/03\/coasting\/\">South Carolina coast<\/a> is much easier for me to visit. But every now and then, I still like to pack up the family and head down to Amelia Island. Honestly, I could never get tired of walking around Fernandina Beach.
