But I call this group &#8220;the feral buzzards&#8221; because they have taken up residence in the neighborhood <a href=\"http:\/\/lucynolanbooks.com\/wordpress\/2018\/09\/05\/feral-cats\/\">feral cat colony<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I first saw this phenomenon in a little coastal town in Florida. While I was out for a morning walk, an old lady drove around town, stopping at various parking lots to feed feral cats. As soon as she drove away, the buzzards descended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, the buzzards and cats seemed to have worked out a compromise.
