But Not."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You thought I had covered every possible aspect of palmetto tree mailboxes here in the neighborhood, didn\u2019t you?<\/p>\n<p>You thought wrong.<\/p>\n<p>Sure, I talked about the <a href=\"http:\/\/lucynolanbooks.com\/wordpress\/2016\/08\/31\/palmetto-pride\/\">mailbox stands<\/a>, and then <a href=\"http:\/\/lucynolanbooks.com\/wordpress\/2016\/11\/30\/palmetto-trees-again\/\">the mailboxes<\/a>, and then the <a href=\"http:\/\/lucynolanbooks.com\/wordpress\/2017\/03\/01\/and-yet-more-palmettos\/\">mailbox flags<\/a>&#8230;and even the <a href=\"http:\/\/lucynolanbooks.com\/wordpress\/2017\/06\/05\/wannabes\/\">yard flags next to the mailbox stands<\/a>. Whew.<\/p>\n<p>But I haven\u2019t covered the fake palmetto mailboxes. Instead, they just go with the subtropical, beachy look. Which, if you think about it,  is still South Carolina-like.
