Land of yard flags, mailboxes and squirrels. <\/p>\n<p>Birdbaths, swing sets and patio furniture.<\/p>\n<p>Dogs that are on leashes, and cats that aren\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>On my walks through the neighborhood, I find all kinds of things that interest me. Maybe they\u2019ll interest you, too. That\u2019s why I started this blog \u2013 to share the images of suburbia that inspire me every day.<\/p>\n<p>I have written flower pots and garden hoses into the <a href=\"http:\/\/lucynolanbooks.com\/wordpress\/portfolio\/down-girl-and-sit-series\/\">Down Girl and Sit<\/a> books. Even a welcome mat or two. See, dogs find those things almost as fascinating as I do. Almost as fascinating as a hamburger on a backyard grill. Almost. But not quite. Actually, now that I think about it, it\u2019s not even close. Hamburgers win, hands down.<\/p>\n<p>But I digress.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, the suburbs are my home and I love them.
